We are a well-organised, friendly and competitive club that is of a good standard and that uses high-quality feather shuttles. We are not a beginners club, so if you are just starting out, we will not be the right club for you. However, if you have been playing at a good level for some time, you are welcome to come along for an initial trial session (subject to availability). This allows us to assess your playing ability and give you the opportunity to experience our setup. We want all our members to be happy and to flourish in a positive and friendly atmosphere.
Due to high demand, we have had to introduce a membership waiting list, but we are always interested in welcoming new members, so please do contact us if you are interested in playing.
Our club has a culture of fun and friendship with a competitive edge. One of our long-term goals is to grow DBC to the point where we can give back to the local community by offering discounted or free sessions to anyone wanting to try out this fantastic sport. When we play

• Our club nights are at the Dunstable Centre in Court Drive, LU5 4JD split over two nights, a Wednesday between 8pm and 10pm and a Friday between 7pm and 9pm.
• If you simply want to play without joining the club, you can do so as a guest on a Friday subject to availability as we do have a full membership quota.
• We will always try to accommodate players if we can, but the best way to guarantee games is to join the club (subject to waiting list situation).

Fees

• Our membership fees are £240.00 each year. This allows members to play on any one of our club nights all year round, which works out at less than £5 per week, representing great value for money. Note the Wednesday session is full as of Aug 1st 2023 and so new members will have to choose the Friday session as their main playing night.
  
• Members can also play in our other sessions (subject to availability) for an additional £6.00.
  
• A two-hour guest session costs £9.00, regardless of the day you play (subject to availability).
